    « on: June 08, 2007, 02:46:25 PM »
Does anyone know anything about the free downloadable ADC Sound Recorder 3.4?  Has anyone ever tried it?  How do you rate it?

    Thanks.

Looks fine to me. Pretty basic though (but that's fine if that's what you want).

If you want a more advanced free one, I recommend you check out Audacity (audacity.sourceforge.net).

It's definitely lacking when it comes to features, but if all you want to do is record without all the bells and whistles, this looks like it will get the job done.  It's not the best, but I'm thinking of keeping it...although I don't think it's very user-friendly.

Audacity is indeed a fine alternative...
