Can you put in DDR1 RAM into a new computer? With DDR2 RAM already in it?

DDR2 is not backward compatible to DDR1.
Although the DDR2 module is physically the same length as a DDR1 module, the DDR2 module has a 240pin
configuration whereas DDR1 is 184pin confi guration.

DDR2 ram is not backward compatible

    * if you get the e6600 and these sticks of ram, you would save yourself a ton of money*

      Old Calum now, eh?
Well, young honvetops, no supper for you tonight!
      COL.
You're right, sound cards can be ridiculously expensive.
But a cheap or even integrated one will serve most people's needs - the people who need more are either music enthusiasts/producers or gamers.

From another post, your motherboard's sound right?
"Built In 8 Channel Audio SPDIF Optical Coaxial" - it's a standard built in sound card.

        It may do, actually.
You would be able to hear us coming better, and you'd also get better performance so it'd be smoother, so you could see what's going on better (not that you need smoother with your beast, lol).
It'd really take advantage of the sweet speakers you have and round out your amazing system.
BTW - nothing will stop Raptor killing you and taking your dogtags, he is inhuman.
