Word has stopped repeating characters
« on: July 16, 2007, 05:21:49 AM »
Hi there,

Something odd has started to happen with MS Word. Holding down a key no longer causes the program to fire off repeated characters; like thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.

It happens with all the keys, delete included so it's a bit of a pain!

I'm sure this is something embarassingly simple. Can anyone help?

cheers! Dave

Power down the computer and try another keyboard.

Sorry, but your reply isn't clear to me.  Is it working right or not, now?
