finding drivers
« on: July 31, 2007, 06:21:14 PM »
I have 2 web cams that I don't have the installation disc for either. I've tried going to the Mfg website to get driver downloads, but no luck. Is thier someplace I can get any driver I need. I've tried every place I can think of.
Help in a BIG way.   johnn

Give us any information you have about the webcams.  Are there any markings/stickers/numbers on them that might help us?

Kensington Support:
Quote
Due to a changing market, Kensington has made a very difficult business decision. As of 2001, Kensington exited the Imaging business in order to focus on other products.

As a result of this, Kensington no longer develops drivers for the #67014 Kensington VideoCAM, #67015 Kensington VideoCAM VGA, or the #67016 Kensington VideoCAM Super VGA. Thus, VideoCAM drivers for Windows XP or 2000 operating systems have never been developed, nor will be supported by Kensington.

VideoCamWorks software for Windows 98/Me, and Mac OS 8.6-9.x can be downloaded from: (dead link)

Yeah...that link from a quote doesn't work, so I'll delete it, but the primary link ("Kensigton Support") works...
