well on my brothers computer, he starts up his computer, gets the list of how to start it up, you know the start up with the last known configuration, or safe mode, or safe mode with networking, etc. But when he starts up, the windows logo appears along with the loading bar, but then it goes black, and the caps lock numlock and scrolllock lights flash, and nothing happens. This happens on the last known configuration and the normal start up. The safe modes work. What ive done so far is start it up in safe mode, then i system restored to the system checkpoint two days ago when the computer was working, but it did what it was doing before. Then i did a system restore to august 1st, but that did nothing either. Im at a loss.
