    i would go for a processor

    but list your pc specs and one of the pros will tell you what you need most !

    Get a new CPU, new motherboard and new graphics card.
    But not that CPU and board, they're older technology, not good performance, and expensive.

      What motherboard will work with the Intel E6600 duo.
      And were can I get one cheap

      Any Socket 775 motherboard that support Intel Core 2 Duo will work with the E6600.
      Here's a good board that supports Core 2 and SLI.

          Exactly, but in the minds of Ebay sellers 3GHz dual core --> 6GHz dual core.
          Quite how they work that out I don't know, but it's a valid point.
          I overlooked it - too used to just halving the speeds all the time to get past that.
          Edit: yes, that board will work fine with either processor.
          And to have writing as a link, use {url=yourlink.com}your text{/url} and replace { with [, } with ].

              I've brought the motherboard and it should be coming soon.

              One problem I have, I don't the internet on my new computer.
              My sister has taken the wireless (so I could keep the monitor), and I just wont to ask, do any of you know how to set up wireless and what I need to bye- last time my computer man did it all but I don't want to pay him to do it if I can easily do it
