no display after tunring on System

There is no display on monitor ng on System. System beeps for 2 -3 times. Durin swtich on, key board and monitor flahses lights, system beeps 2-3 times.
Could some help on this.

    before we get started, it would help us if you could post some details about your make and model perhaps?

    also, what OS?
