I typed that in under server, but it told me it didn't exist. There is also the options tree and context. MShome is my workgroup.

This is an old dos game, it is not over the net. I don't believe that IPX/SPX goes over the net. I set up a LAN at my home, and this old DOS game only works on NetBIOS over TCP/IP or IPX/SPX. NetBIOS was (extremely times 1000) slow. So Now i'm trying IPX/SPX on a home network. I don't think there is an internet involved here.

These sights have to do with TCP/IP gaming and connections, I need to configure Windows 98SE and Windows XP to communicate on BOTH TCP/IP and IPX/SPX.

By the looks of it, this guy got it to work. I wonder what I'm doing wrong. I am over a WAN, I don't have a direct cable. This is what I have installed.

On the Win 98 SE computer:

IPX/SPX compatibale protocol -> xxxxxxxxxx
NetBIOS support for IPX/SPX protocol
Client for Netware networks

On the Win XP computer:

Client for Novell Networks (Win XP SP2 v4.x)
NWlink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS compatiblie transport protocol
NWlink NetBIOS

For the Win 98SE computer should I make primary network log on Client for Netware networks?  I am given the option to log on in Netware but I don't know what my server is. How do I find that out?
