sold number
custommer name
son of
address
date (should b auto)
id card field should b (yes/no)

I'm with ghostdog.  Try out a free trial of Excel and see if it's to your liking.

acctually i have ms excel but i want that any program thant use its worksheet but display results like a report and i could enter data in that worksheet through that software and manage through,try to under stand it should have also search function.

Cut the guy a break guys. It's obvious he doesn't speak native english or have any programming skills, but you don't have to maul him for his ignorance. He's probably gone already anyways, and all you're doing is upping your post count for being unhelpful. I wonder if that's why Richenstony left.....

If I understand you correctly (to be honest, I'm not sure if I do), then I believe what you want to do can be achieved with Excel without needing other software.  Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Comprehensive from New Perspectives is a great resource that can teach you many tricks and techniques.  It's a bit pricey, but I'm sure if you look around on Amazon, you can find many good cheap alternatives.

I don't think you need to make a computer program for something like this.

I suggest using a program like Microsoft Access, or Open Office Base. (Download OpenOffice: http://download.openoffice.org/2.3.0/index.html )
You can create a form to enter information into. This is probably a better solution.

Most Office type programs, you can press CTRL+F and type in what you are searching for.
