    Advise On Ethernet Switch/ADSL

    Hi Everyone

    I want to connect three computers together Via Ethernet Switch. I just dont know how to assign the same IP Address to all the Computers. Ive run the Network Setup Wizard on all the Computers. Im using Siemens Speedstream 4200 Modem. Any help will be great. Thank You

    You can't do that. Each machine needs its own IP.

    What you need is a router to connect to your modem. Todays routers come with a 4 port switch built right into it. And they can be setup using your web browser.

    Take a look at linksys.com for a good place to start to buy one.
