Error message when running Internet Explorer
    « on: October 25, 2007, 09:36:59 AM »
    Using Vista home premium on Advent T9408, iNTEL CORE2CPU, [email protected], 1022MB RAM, 32-bit op.system, 320gb H/D.

I keep getting an error box after which I.E. closes down, the box states -

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime error
    Programme:C:\ProgrammeFiles\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
    R6025
    -pure virtual function call

How can I repair this fault, its begining to occur quite often.

        Thanks for that

One question though - the site states that the article only applies to Windows XP and older, it doesn't state Vista, will I still be O.K. to complete the actions while running Vista?

Because Microsoft has not changed that document to indicate it's associated with Vista. I'd assume that the KBID mentioned above does not relate to your issue.

Your issue is most likely being caused by something that has been installed in Internet Explorer such as a toolbar or other add-on or plug-in.

If you have any special tool bars you're using in Internet Explorer I'd suggest you try uninstalling those toolbars.

          IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab
Make sure, that in Browsing section, you have it set like this:

Thanks both, for your advice -
I don't have any additional plug in's, toolbars or anything I can think of that I've added myself.
All boxes as are as suggested above also.

            It just struck me...
            You sure about your spelling?
            iexplorer.exe
If so, it's not legit M$ file. IE file is named: iexplore.exe

And why does your link to your processor open an e-mail app ? ? ?

But Broni's question is more pertinent....

I think, it must be some board setting about anything what includes "@" sign.
