Welcome to the CH forums.

Which cloning program did you use?

Also what did you use to partition the Maxtor drive ? ?
Did you remember to set the first partition active ? ?
At any rate i would only clone one at a time until each is working.

I would just start over with FDisk...simplest solution.
After everything is up and running you can use Disk Management in Windows to convert to NTFS if need be.

The other option is if the old drive still boots and has all the data do the following.
Install the old drive as master and boot up making sure everything runs.
Power down and hook up the Maxtor as a slave and re-boot making sure the Maxtor drive is recognised.
Then power down and re-boot with the Maxtor CD and use it to clone the first partition of the old drive to the first partition of the Maxtor.
Power down...hook the Maxtor as master and leve the old out for now.
Power up and make sure everything runs properly...if so you can now shut down hook up the old drive as slave and copy/clone the remaining data partitions.

Maxtor and for that matter all HDD manuf. cloning utilities have come a long way and work great.

I only used Casper very briefly...and that was many years ago...
I grew up using nothing but the DOS version of Ghost and i remember trying Casper to compare.
If i didn't switch there must have been a reason.
