I just installed a clean installation of WinXP pro but my computer was unable to copy the driver.cab file. What And how can I do to obtain it?

Not familiar with XP, but if you go to Start > Find > Files and Folders (or whatever it is in XP), do a search for 'drivers.cab' on the Windows CD. Then it's just a case of copying the files from there to 'C:\Windows\System' (again, replace with whatever it is in XP)

Anyone want to provide any more specifics?

Are you using a authentic original XP pro disk or is it a copy or a download .?

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
