Hardware
« on: April 13, 2004, 04:18:51 PM »
I have wiped out my extra D: harddrive.  It accepts CD.

Now my computer does not recognize D: drive, and won't open to give me back a CD that I put into it.

What can I do to get the computer to  recognize the d: drive.  Since I lost the drive, It also won't recognize DOS. Please help.

First.. post in the hardware section.

Second.. if it won't open to let the CD out, how'd you get the CD in?  Run the hardware detection process to re-detect the CDrom.  Find the drivers on the 'net for your specific model (though CDroms are pretty generic).
