Folder background image in XP
« on: January 13, 2008, 03:52:56 AM »
Hi all,

Is there a way of changing all folders background's in one go - instead of editing the .ini files individually for each & every folder?

Here's a guide I found for changing a folders bg image:

http://perishablepress.com/press/2006/10/16/folder-background-images-in-winxp/

I basically want the same image in the bg of every folder.

Oh... & I just noticed that this is my 100th post btw, so wish me happy birthday... book a stripper... that sort of thing  ;D

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's a way to do what you want.  Perhaps you could use a theme program of some sort; I don't know.  There's a program that will change folder backgrounds for you, but I'm quite sure it only does one at a time and doesn't have a way to set a design as the default.

Neljan, I booked a stripper for you.  However, I have no idea where to send her . . . .
Why is this thus?  What is the reason for this thusness?

When I called I said I wanted to get the most for my money.  They sent me a 500 lb stripper; I nearly suffocated when she threw her bra on my head.  When she tried to dance on the table it collapsed and she fell on my dog, who is now in traction.  I guess you should be glad I didn't know where to send her.  :P
