memory stick

Have broken the memory stick with one years work on which I can`t make up. Stick is broken where it pushes into the computer. Is there any way I can get my work off it. It is very important. Many thanks

You can pay to have the data recovered, very often. There are many data recovery companies that can often get data off physically broken pen drives. I do not know what country you live in. In Great Britain I know of Apex Data Recovery which can repair USB pen drives, extract the data and put it on a new one and return to you by mail order. there are plenty of others. often companies which repair laptops will offer this kind of service.

If you do not live in Britain, or if you want to try a few companies and see what they charge, do a Google search  for something like "USB pen drive repair service" or "Data recovery service", adding your country or city to the search terms.
