    .cur files... so frusterated
    « on: April 23, 2008, 01:14:28 PM »
Here is my story...  I wanted to try and customize my mouse pointer so I tried to open a .cur file but I cant find a program to open them, then when I clicked a program, it set it as default and now I cant get the little icon pictures that show what the pointer looks like.  Also i cant get the programs that dont open it to come out of the "recomended programs" box.  Its not really important but I'd like to know how to fix it.  Im using Windows Vista.  Thanks!

Go Start, and in "Start Search" type in:
        restore
You'll see System Restore link above.

You can't open .cur files with those programs. There are some programs, which can customize mouse cursors. See this: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,54332.0.html
Are you actually having any problem with your computer? I thought, you messed something up.

Where exactly do you go to see them? Control Panel>Mouse?
