HI WHAT IS THE RIGHT WAY TO REPLACE WIN 2000 PRO
AND GO TO WIN 98 SE OR 98./ THERE  FOR GRAND KIDS AND I THINK 98 WOULD BE BETTER. KIDS ARE 7 & 8. CP'S HAD
W2P AND ARE GATEWAY 433.

Well.... You would have to "wipe" all of the information out... Also, Windows 98? It would be easier for you to buy the UPGRADE disk from a computer store, that will have Windows XP on it.... Windows XP is MUCH better then 98, etc. Especially if they will be using it for gaming, etc.

Well, you're welcome! Just note that, when you install Windows XP using the upgrade disk, that you will want to do a CLEAN install.... Doing a clean install, will "wipe out" all of the information on your computer, and install XP... It is best to do a clean install also, becuase if you do not, then you care technically using your OLD operating system... You don't want to do that....  ;)
