    Plz help. Windows 2000 winnt/system/32/config/systemced
    « on: May 22, 2008, 12:17:38 PM »
I know this may sound stupid to most but I need help. I am running win 2000 & on startup I get WINN/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEMced startup options for windows 2000, press f8.

I know longer have the 2000 disk. i have the xp pro disk & nt. Everytime I put it either disk. It reads them but still goes back to the screen I stated above.

Is there a way I can get past this or how can I erase my op system thru dos w/o the startip disk or erd. Is there a way I can run dos thru a differnt screen? Any help you can give me I would appreciate. Windows does not offer any support tech support for this.

    Thanx

You could use the XP CD to format or delete the partition and install new if you like. Boot off the CD and follow the prompts.
