    i have a friend who, is having trouble uninstalling zone labs security form his computer he must have deleted the uninstaller ( doh) it does not show up in add / remove progs, amd has looked for the uninstaller in the releveant folders,, there seems to be 1 file in the reg which will not delete he has full permissions but it just will not delete even in safe mode he has also deleted some of the folders in the reg also but yet it still works
    he can not restore his computer, hmm i am quite confused as to what to advise him ????? as i do not know what state his files are in as i can not get to him was wondering if anybody may know of what he can do
    i eagearly await your replies many thans kall the best

    Something you and your friend might want to look into:  MyUninstaller

    Though I've never used it myself...it has been given good reviews and is an alternative to removing programs other than the standard Windows interface.

    Best of all...it's FREE!

    Another thing to try would be to reinstall the program first, then try uninstalling again.
    MyUninstaller looks pretty good too though.

      i appreciated all the help that was  offered...... i had aleady suggested to my mate to try uninstaller pro
      t of which the 2nd time he tried it it had done the job it was designed for but i thank you all for your help
      obivously he did it wrong in the first place
