    help please!
    « on: June 04, 2008, 10:48:01 AM »
Hi I am in desperate need of some help.
My keyboard started not letting me double tap keys. Like to type the word 'too' I have to type 'to' then wait a second or two then type 'o'. This is not restricked to the letter keys on the board I can not used any key if I have to tap it twice I have to wait to get it to go.
Does anyone know what is wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to CH!

Try to restart your computer and see if it will solve it..

Did you try to change the keyboard setting in control panel (specifically "Repeat delay" and Repeat rate") to see if that helps.

      Cheers

        Thank you!
I am running Windows XP and hp keyboard Ps2 and this started after my husband was online with it. It also makes a little tapping noise when the keys are pressed. I am going to try to reboot.
