error messages
« on: April 20, 2004, 07:59:21 PM »
Immediately after booting my computer, I get an error message on my screen. Title of the error message is PROBLEM WITH SHORTCUT. Contents of the message reads as follows: The shortcut "TOCKXGTT.INK" REFERS TO A LOCATION THAT IS UNVAILABLE. THE LOCATION COULD BE ON A HRAD DRIVE ON THIS COMPUTER, ON A NETWORK, OR ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER ON YOUR HOME NETWORK. CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE DISC IS PROPERLY INSERTED, OR THAT YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET OR HOME NETWORK AND THEN TRY AGAIN.  End of message.      If I click on OK, the same message appears but the "TOCKXGTT.INK changes to something else. This goes on forever and this message does not go away. This message appears on the screen before I log on to the internet. Does anyone know what is causing this shortcut error? Thank you.
