How can I change chiness font

hi all

I have installed chiness font at MS word 2003.and I change the font  type as chiness.But when i type the letter i see the english letter.
SO pls tell me the instruction to change the font completely as chiness letter.

Where did you install this Chinese Font?

You can't just download a .ttf file that claims to have chinese characters if you want to type in Chinese. Are you just trying to get the fonts to work or do you want to type in Chinese?

Now i have download a new chinese font but it is .rar file extention.How can i change .rar to .ttf.

.rar is an archive file like .zip. You will need to open and extract the information inside this file.

After installing, you will be able to open your .rar archive.

May I ask what is inside it?

Now I have download 7 zip software ,and i extract .rar file but
 i see a message "cannot open file ".

Oh so you can't open the .rar archive? 

When you open 7-zip, go to Tools --> Options and make sure that .rar is checked.

Yes i am not checked before.now i try again.It is ok.i get HDZ.ttf.

ok i have tried this provided link  but i see a message box "Insert a window CD service park 2".Is need window installer CD agin?Because i don't install window again.

When does it show you this? What did you click before the message came up?

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed?
