Windows XP Pro - setting time via Internet?
    « on: June 16, 2008, 12:10:44 PM »
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/maintain/setclock.mspx
describes Adjust Date/Time having an Internet tab to allow setting time via the Internet.

My Adjust Date/Time only has Date & Time and Time Zone tabs.
How do I get the Internet tab?

Strange, it should be there by default. There is a "Windows Time" service in Control Panel -Administrative Tools-Services that should be started and enabled. I'm not sure what that would affect but wouldn't hurt to check.

The internet time tab will not appear when the computer is part of a domain.
