Need a place to host a swf file
« on: June 21, 2008, 08:02:23 PM »
Okay, so... without purchasing a domain and server space, i need to find a place to host a small .swf file for a flash music file. I am on freewebs but when i put the code into a myspace profile, it doesn't work. I think that it is because myspace blocks freewebs links, causing the file to not function. but wherever i put this think, i need to be able to update it. So does anyone know a place?

I haven't used this but I thought it seems like a possible solution for you: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/01/10/free-file-and-image-hosting-at-2and2net/  Scroll down the page to find the link to 2and2.net

There's one specifically for Flash files at http://MegaSWF.com.

I think YouTube only allows SWF files formatted as videos.

wordpress.com seems to be a good choice, and I don't know if blogspot.com accepts flash upload or not.

I built an online tool to convert images. Hope it can be useful to you.

      It's called MediaFire.

I've used this site for hosting files on FreeWebs.com . It's guaranteed to work.
