Soldierfront slows down

My processor is intel pent4 2.80ghz,i have 512MB ram, my video card is Radeon 9800 Pro, i have 26.6gb free space in my cdrive and 74.5 total space in my c drive.  i will tell you if my fps improves on the game.  also my specs all meet the requirement for the game.  i will explain my problem in detail.  the game is soldierfront.  on my first few rounds which lasts about 15min my fps is fine running smooth then after that my fps goes down and stays there and spikes.  only the first few rounds of either after opening or rebooting my comp or rebooting the modem my fps is fine during the first few rounds. then if i want good fps for the first few rounds ill have to reboot my comp or modem.  ive had this probalem for a few months. its really been bothering me and i cant play the game because of this.

You play on-line, right? If so, what type connection do you have?

Recommended Requirements:
Graphics Card     GeForce4 128MB
RAM     512MB

If they say "recommended", in real life, it often means: double it.
Does your Radeon come with 128MB, or 256MB of RAM?

my connection is high speed internet by comcast. and my video card ram is 128mb. but a few months ago. im pretty sure i had the same thing and the game and fps was running fine for me.

i read somewhere about defragmenting the game file? maybe i need to do that? but my disk defragmenter only defragments the whole c drive or d drive.

that forum is uselss. most of them are young and dont know anything about computer stuff and the ones who do just say reinstall, delete running programs and stuff that i already know. but thnx for trying to help. i really appreciate it. im going to probally just find another game or just keep trying.
