printer not responding
« on: February 17, 2005, 08:38:56 AM »
Suddenly when I attempt to print using my Canon i560 printer I get a message saying printer not responding. I have windows xp pro, and recently installed windows xp service pack 2. There is no printer at all in device manager. I've downloaded the latest driver-but still no go. I also have an epson scanner that works fine.
Why has this happened all of a sudden-the printer was working fine up until a few days ago. Do you think that installing service pack 2 has anything to do with it and how do I get my printer responding again?  ???
Thanking you for your help.

Is that printer selected as the default printer?

Yes. It is selected as the default printer.
