no error messages. when starting it normally it stays on the windows loading screen. it only works in safe mode which i'm in now. it started doing this around a month ago.
i visit three sites frequently and they never caused me any problems, however my stepdad has recently been getting on and i find my browsing history has been getting deleted, so he's probably been on some sites that may have viruses.
the computer runs the most up to date norton antivirus that we can find.
some programs have also gone missing, most microsoft programs like word and paint are gone, along with the two games on the computer.
