    HD & motherboard speeds
    « on: July 28, 2008, 05:03:08 PM »
I looked at my MB specs today & found out it is 1.5 Gb/s.  This was after I found out my HD was a 3.0 Gb/s.  I have a problem with my OS not loading at all now.  Does this issue have any deal with the speeds listed above or is this totally unrelated?

I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the data transfer speeds if the computer has been working before.

We need more information, Please look here.

I am considering buying a 2nd HD to put Windows on for now & then wipe the corrupt drive clean once I transfer everything I want after checking for viruses.  I'm just wondering if having the 2 different speeds has any profound effect on the corrupt drive.  Thanks for the answer.

HDD #'s relatw to the total storage space on that drive...
They have nothing to do with your other posted # which is the speed of your main chip (*CPU )
