    When I load  Outlook Express I have a window that provides my user name and password but when I click OK it reappears and continues to do so. I therefore cannot connect to receive or send. Could there be something wrong with my settings?

    Its possible either your username and/or password are incorrect.

    Check your account settings and reenter your userename and password.

    Sometimes, Antivirus software will change these settings causing the issue you are referring to.

    Sometimes...problems with your ISP's mail server will cause this...yet you should receive an error message stating OE was unable to connect to the mail server.
