can't access system restore and other windows features

hi to all! please help to fix my problem with my laptop. i cant access the system restore and other features of my windows like search, window media player and others. im using windows xp, my anti virus is kaspersky internet security, i also using adaware and ccleaner. thanks in advance......... more power

sory bro. anyway im using windows xp my laptop's  spcecification amd sempron 3500+ 1.8ghz, 512ddr2, ati radeon xpress 1100. bro. everytime i open the system restore only white blank screen appeared and if open the search button from start only the animation dog appeared. bro. im using revo uninstaller to uninstall   program maybe it is the cause why my windows being corrupted. bro. do you knowledge about RRT? because someone advice me to use that RRT to fix my problem but have no idea with tools. thanks bro

bro. rrt means REMOVE RESTRICTIONS TOOL anyway i already run it to safe mode but it was the same there no difference.  maybe the last option to fix my problem is to reformat my OS but my problem is i do not have the windows xp installer or the cd.

If you get the XP CD, you don't need to reformat. A simple Repair will do.

Can you borrow a CD?

maybe bro. i can borrow xp cd from my friend but the problem is maybe the cd  is pirated ? do you think it is ok to use that kind of cd. anyway bro. thanks for time

I guess you could try to use it. It's against our forum rules to talk about them and talk about getting them. Also, we aren't allowed to assist people with copied and/or downloaded material. However in this case, it's not your CD.
 

Just follow my previous link and perform a Repair Install.
