    Hello,
I am getting this message when I click on a email link while on a website. I have Vista and am using Microsoft Office, Outlook. I checked my programs and have the all defaults set to Outlook and IE. I also looked at the protocol file and "mailto" is set to Outlook.

It's likely your e-mail client is not specified in your browser. I'm assuming this is Internet Explorer. If so follow the below steps.

    In IE click Tools
    Click Internet Options
    Click Programs tab
Specify e-mail client in this window.
