    Videos don't load (ex. youtube)
    « on: September 11, 2008, 09:35:30 PM »
Ok, for some reason today two things happened: youtube videos and other site videos won't load, and when I start up a blue screen appears asking to scan a drive if I remember correctly. It says the file is "FAT" and it says the drive is not a windows xp drive, asking to continue, then starting up. SO yea, I have no clue what's up, other than I installed a hp printer, then deleted everything that had hp in the front of it, but it seemed like all those files were of two catigories, and most (if not all) were for the printer. Help :'(

No error messages when starting up, when on youtube it says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. ", I downloaded latest adobe, nothing. I went into tool, internet options, security, then turned on active scripting and scripting of java apps, nothing. Started today and the only message is the blue screen on startup that appears once in a while.

That blue message sounds like it's checking your Flash Drive for errors.

What Internet Browser are you using?

        Can you try Firefox?

          It shouldn't.

Just install it, try Yotube, post back, uninstall it (if you want).

           ;)

update:Re-read it, it says the disk system is FAT, its checking disks, not drives.

FAT? What is the drive letter? Do you not have a Flash Drive plugged in?

Not sure about flash drive, I didn't unplug anything (it may have came loose) but yea it says" checking on F:, and as said is "FAT", not sure what that means exactly.

Unplug all Flash Drives and see what happens when you boot.
