Hard drive

Im going to take a sata drive that is full & use it as a slave .Wheh i install a new sata drive as the master what changes do i have to make? PC is a D ell tower. Thanks

I didn't think SATA drives had Master/Slave relationships, because each SATA drive has its own "channel" plugged into the system board.  You may just need to change the boot order in the computer's BIOS, so the system tries to boot the new drive before the old drive.

Worked out good, [thanks again] First time i opened up a Dell they secure all their cables in a neat fasion, proberly because the way it opens.
