Hard drive undetected

My primary and secondary hard drives are not detected but it's detected on my friend's computer.
I've scanned it. No bad sector was detected.
I've unpluged and pluged again all the cables but the problem is still exist.  Is there anything wrong with my power suply or my motherboard ? What should i do ?
My computer spesification is two hard drive, one CD-Rom, one DVD-Rom, 768 MB memory installed, GeForce 3 Ti 200, Pentium IV 1.9 GHz, Power Supply 300 Watt
Please help ASAP......  :-[

Reset your BIOS to defaults, then make sure autodect hard drives is turned on

I've reseted my BIOS and turned the autodetect on but it doesn't solve the problem..

Have you tried a different cable?

Is the cable plugged in properly.  On IDE drives there is normally a red strip running down the side of the cable, this strip needs to be on pin 1 of the controller and the driver.

Hoho... i've figured out the problem. My power supply is lack of power. Apparently 300 Watt is not enough. I've changed it to 500 Watt. It's work.  ;D Anyway.. Thanx for ur help, gussery
