Critical Error

Hey i am getting this error below when i run certain programs:

This app. has encountered a critical error:

FATAL ERROR!

Program: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\war3.exe
Exception:  0xc0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001b:02116b91

The instruction at '0x02116b91' referenced memory at '0x01643000'.
the memory could not be 'read'

press ok to terminate the application.

I have gotten something like this before when i tried to access my secondary HDD it gave me almost the same error.  My system specs are:
Win xp Pro corp
1gb ram
Athalon XP 2500
i believe thats all the informatio you really need please if anyone knows about this please help.
