computer reboots itself continuously

My computer keeps rebooting itself over and over. I am using windows Xp. I can even get in a safe mode. Can someone help me out? Thanks!!

Sorry for the lack of info. I have an HP A730N. Pentium 4 3.0GHz. 512 MB (2x256)and a 200 GB hard drive. I am running windows XP Pro sp3. I go to turn on the computer and it starts to boot up, the windows XP logo comes up and then it reboots it self. I can't go it to a safe mode, it won't boot from the disc, its just a circle of rebooting. Any ideas? Thanks Bill

Have you made any changes to the computer recently?  Like downloaded something or put in new hardware (ex: RAM)?
