looks good, but you might consider upgrading the video card to a FX5200 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-128-180&depa=1) as it would be more powerful for only a small price increase.

Hi,

Onboard/external modem? Usually provided, but just in case : )

Also how many USB / Firewire ports? Nowadays usually 4-6 USB and 1 firewire port.

External devices like ADSL modem, printer, scanner etc are usually USBs. May use up most of ur ports.

MS office is not included. U can't work with MS word, powerpoint etc without MS office. Although u can still download Staroffice for free as substitute : )

DVD/ CD ROM /floppy drive? CD writer drive? Actually depends on whether u need them : )

I would think 4 USB ports would be enough, if you ever need any more you can just get a mini USB hub for about $10. to get another 4.

Yea thanks for your help but I have one more question: when under the mobo description it says "2x UltraDMA 100 up to 4 Devices" does that mean that i can only have total of like say 2 D drives and a floppy and a hard drive or what?
