    Is it possible to get the updates an put them on a thumb drive an install it off that?

          Ah, the one place I didn't look.

          Can you not install updates wirelessly? (are we talking about firmware updates)

            I dont think.  Not in a position to really be able to do that.  The only place Im able to see a connect but I cant connect to it.

            So.....You cannot connect to a wireless network? Is that the problem?

              Been doing some searching, but I couldn't find anything.

              Can you not check what firmware version your Wii currently has and check what the latest one is online?
