GeForce 8400GS
« on: December 13, 2008, 07:07:21 AM »
I've recently put together a pretty awesome computer from scratch and everything appears to be working fine. That is apart from the graphics card - A Sparkle GeForce 8400 GS with 512MB.

I've plugged the card into the PCI Express port on the Motherboard and I've disabled the NVidia on board graphics and when I plug the monitor into the card I get absolutely nothing. Also the disc that came with the card is of absolutely no use as I get the following error message from SmartInstall saying - An unsupported operation was attempted.

I tried running drivers that I downloaded from the Sparkle website and they also did not work.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/experience/advice on what could be wrong and what I could do?

Thanks in advance!
