I can't download anything on my computer..

I have windows vista,and now for some reason it won't download anythin goes thru the motions and acts like it is downloading and then just dissapears the file is not  there. anyone know what it could be?

How much free HD space do you have?

The file may have downloaded  and was not placed on the desktop.

Search for the file if you know the name of the file or part of the name of the file.

Test with another download site with a different file download.

Close all windows and tabs not in use before the download.

Clean your machine before the download.

Clean your registry before the download.

Remove any earlier versions of the download file.
