Help, I've deleted my sound driver!

Hi guys,

The other day my laptop said that I was running out of room on my c: drive so I deleted a few things which I thought I did'nt need.

Unfortunately I've accidently deleted sound and now my laptop is telling me that I have 'no audio device'. I can watch a video on youtube, but there's no sound.

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L7300.

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Thanks. I've downloaded both of them and restarted my laptop but I still have no audio device. Is there anything I need to do to 'activate' the downloads?

I don't know if this will make any difference but I downloaded the files onto my d: drive where as my old sound driver was on my c: drive.

I would first fix the space problem.

Try this (snippet from here: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,62253.0.html)

Download and Install
CCleaner.
(Without Yahoo Toolbar: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim)

When it is installed, run it and make sure the following checkboxes are checked.
Internet Explorer --> Temporary Files
Internet Explorer --> Cookies (optional)
Mozilla Firefox --> Internet Cache
Mozilla Firefox --> Cookies (optional)
System --> Temporary Files
System --> Empty Recycling Bin (optional but recommended if low on disk space)
You can check whatever else you want but you should know that whatever you check will be unrecoverable.
When you are done, Run the Cleaner.

Another tip on freeing space is to remove old programs you don't use or don't work(like trial versions)
Go to Start --> Control Panel
(Start --> RUN --> Control and press Enter)
Make sure you are in Classic View, not Category View.
Look for Add and Remove Programs.
