    Can't connect to the internet
    « on: January 17, 2009, 06:16:11 AM »
I'm using a wireless LAN network with a router connecting my pc and laptop. Recently I haven't been able to connect from even three feet from the router and occasionally my laptop doesn't even find the network.

I recently downloaded the new version of internet explorer, it was a pain so I switched to firefox but I have a feeling explorer changed some of the settings. When I try to connect it switches the encryption from WPA-PSK to WPA2-PSK and TKIP to AES which I think has something to do with it.

I'd appreciate any ideas on how to fix the problem. Cheers.
