ps/2 mouse

ok sometimes my mouse works sometimes it doesnt work right, i have cleaned it tons of times. sometimes i can unplug it from the computer and re plug it and it will work for a while. what it does- it doesnt want to go to the right to the error pointing down to move the page. can someone tell me what else i can do?

First try a different PS/2 mouse...  If you have no problems with that, chances care, your old mouse was dying.  If you still have problems, there's a fair chance that it's a driver problem or a problem with the PS/2 port...  In that case, try a USB mouse.
