'Steganos Internet Anonym VPN' Connection Issue's
    « on: January 17, 2009, 10:56:52 AM »
Hi, I'm on a Windows XP home, SP3 Toshiba laptop with a wireless modem, using Kaspersky 2009....

Not sure if anyone here will be able to help me with this, but will give it a shot....

I have installed Steganos Internet Anonym VPN so I may use it from time to time for security reasons, and I cant seem to connect with it, I have tried a few things suggested by the website including.....

Updating your network card drive for latest NDIS 6.0 specs, did that....

Making sure 'Virtual Machine Network Services' tab is checked, as instructed here- http://www.steganos.com/support/faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=48&id=145&artlang=en

I also took all the steps suggested as far as Kaspersky goes, making sure its not blocking the program....

One other thing, in my task bar the icon for VPN says 'A network cable is unplugged' and has a red x through it, the same as what it does when your internet isnt connected....

Any suggestions? I'm at a loss as what to do at this point....Thanx!
