Speaker setup
« on: January 17, 2009, 05:27:44 PM »
I've got a stereo system with good quality speakers which has 1 RCA input (red/white holes) which is connected to my computer with a wire on which one end is a 3.5 mm jack and on the other is RCA. My TV has crappier speakers, and I'd like to have both the TV and the computer connected to the stereo system. The TV has both a 3.5 mm output and an RCA output. Is there some sort of switch box or something I could get to connect both to the stereo? I'm willing to go DIY with this if it's too expensive. (light switches?)

Any advice is appreciated  :)

EDIT: I just realized that I can connect the TV to my sound card's input jack and run the sound through my computer.
