    have a windowXP2000

    hello i'm new here and new to this. and the ? is, have this computer that dose not work and will not start up at 1st it starts up the 1st page and the 2nd page, and gose 1st to 2nd page over and over would not start. and tryed it again and will not start at all. and ask a friend and says to take out the hardrive and put it back in, and to put a new software on it. but thats where i like to know is how to i take out the hardrive and how to put it back in. and to install the new software, can some one please help me. don't have cash to buy a new one. thanks

    Is this a desktop or laptop computer?  What kind of computer is it?

      Is it a brand-name desktop, or custom-built? 

      Desktops are easier to work with, generally.  Someone should be able to open the case, and find the hard drive for you.

        it's an "MDG COMPUTER M/S windowsXP" dvd and cd. yep TRYED THE Safe Mode and no luck on that, but now it wont open not even, it runs but no pic tryed changing the back cord "the tv/s to the computer 3 times" but no luck, only has a black sceen now. what dose anyone thing, that i should do. thanks

        1. If you have Windows CD, follow the steps from here: http://icrontic.com/articles/repair_windows_xp

        2. If you don't have Windows CD...
        Download Windows Recovery Console: http://www.thecomputerparamedic.com/files/rc.iso
        Download, and install free Imgburn: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
        Using Imgburn, burn rc.iso to a CD.
        Boot to the CD...let it finish loading.
        When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.
