hi guys .can anyone tell me whats the difference between ddr 333 and ddr400 ?is 1 faster the the other .i have both and can use either on my motherboard but would like to know if 1 is any better the the other .thanks .nomad .

DDR400 (Aka DDR3200) is faster than DDR 333, if your motherboard supports it.  If your motherboard only supports up to 333, you can use 400 anyways, just that it'll run at the speed of a 333.  In other words, if you have both, 400 is the better bet.

    nomad.....the ddr400 is faster than the ddr333 .....however when you mix them like you are the ddr400 only performs as if it was ddr333 .......  ( the term is backward compatible ).

    many thanks for the fast replys  .ill use the ddr400 on my pc and the ddr33 on the wifes pc  ;D cheers guys.
