Question
« on: April 30, 2005, 03:35:10 PM »
A few days ago one of my friends gave me a old computer. Its a Leading Edge computer with one 5.25" Floppy Drive and a 5.25" hard drive. It has an 8088 processor. Its pretty old and it needs a monochrome monitor which I dont have, so I was wondering if i could connect a 16-bit ISA video card
on a 8 bit ISA socket. (This computer only has 8 8-bit ISA sockets.) So I just want to know if its safe and would work.

Won't hurt anything.  Give it a try.
