    Weekly newsletter
    « on: March 21, 2009, 11:26:27 AM »
    Hi,
As some of you may now I'm working on a fan site of my nephew.
He would like to have a page in his site where people can subscribe for a weekly newsmail, so they can get info about the games he has to ride.
Does anyone know how I can do that?
I've tried searching the web but I always end up at other existing newsletters

    thanks in advance

For many years while doing my Newsletter I used EBMailer, mainly because it was so easy to do. May want to give it a shot.

Is there any way I could do something like this without downloading anything (eg. online senders)?

There are dozens of Perl and PHP scripts out there that would allow you to do this. However, you'd need to install these scripts on your web server in order for them to work. Example: http://www.phplist.com/

In addition another alternative would be to have a forum on your site that would allow you to do this and send newsletters out to your forum subscribers as well as have a forum.

Finally, there are dozens of other services out there that will handle all of this for you. These are definately not free services and I've always personally not cared for having my users e-mails stored and used by a third-party.
